Sweet Home Alabama

On Saturday, after eating a delicious breakfast in Atlanta at The Flying Biscuit Cafe with Ivan and Pamela, we took off for Huntsville, Alabama.

We got to Cara's parents house and right away we headed to their neighborhood pool area to have an afternoon by the pool. We had a few beers and ordered a few pizzas from a place called Donatos and ended up staying at the pool until 10pm.

On Sunday (July 3rd), we went over to a pre-July 4th BBQ at one of Cara's parents' friends' houses, where we spent another day by the pool.

For the 4th, we woke up around 10am, we went shopping for some work clothes for me, then we met up with Cara's parents at the Verizon store and she got a new phone - an HTC Thunderbolt just like I have. Then we went to a place called The Zone for a few drinks and what we thought would be dinner, but the food took so long to come out (over an hour) and we needed to go outside to see the fireworks, so we ended up cancelling the order. The fireworks were awesome and we had a great spot to watch them from. We ended up getting some pizza from Donatos again, which was delicious.
