Tennessee, Kentucky and Ohio

This morning, we said goodbye to Cara's parents in Huntsville and headed out on the road to Cincinnati. For lunch, we stopped in Nashville, Tennessee at a place called Arnold's Country Kitchen that I had found on Roadfood.com. It was a cafeteria style restaurant, where you pick out what you want and they serve it to you and charge you accordingly. The pictures below really don't do the food justice, but everything we got was amazing. The cornbread pancakes were my favorite part.

After lunch, we continued on our drive. However, we noticed on Google Maps that there was a huge accident and the interstate was completely blocked, so we decided to take a bunch of back roads through Kentucky until we got far enough north to avoid the accident. The detour added some extra time, but the accident was reporting delays of around 2 hours, so I think we made the right choice. Plus, the country roads provided some good scenery and some nice hilly roads.

In Louisville, we stopped to see Jackie and grab some coffee at Highland Coffee Company.

When we got to Cincinnati, Jenn and Landyn and Kathryn and Clay were waiting for us at Jenn and Landyn's apartment with dinner ready (enchiladas and some margaritas), so we had a Cincinnati version of Tequila Tuesday. Then we went up on the roof for a bit before calling it a night. Tomorrow we plan on exploring Cincinnati.
